TeamDock works like a regular app on your phone. There is nothing to download from an app store: you add your team's page to your home screen once, and from then on it opens full screen with its own icon. On iPhone, this step is also what makes instant notifications possible.
iPhone and iPad
- 1Open your team's TeamDock page in Safari (for example, yourteam.teamdock.ca) and log in.
- 2Tap the Share button: the square with the up arrow at the bottom of the screen.
- 3Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen, then tap Add.
- 4Open TeamDock from the new icon and allow notifications when asked, so you never miss feedback or a schedule change.
Android
- 1Open your team's TeamDock page in Chrome and log in.
- 2Tap the three-dot menu in the top corner.
- 3Tap Add to Home screen (on some phones it says Install app), then confirm.
- 4Open TeamDock from the new icon and allow notifications when asked.
Good to know
- It is completely free for players and parents. The team subscription covers everyone.
- On iPhone, notifications only work from the home-screen version, so install first, then turn notifications on.
- If you do not see Add to Home Screen, you are probably inside an in-app browser, like the one built into Facebook or Instagram. Open the link in Safari or Chrome first and it will appear.
