TeamDock is operated by Muldoon Web Solutions Inc. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect personal information through TeamDock.ca and the TeamDock platform.
About TeamDock
TeamDock is a team management platform designed to help coaches, staff, players, and families stay organized in one shared workspace.
TeamDock may include features such as team dashboards, calendars, events, player notes, direct feedback, goal planning, video links, photo galleries, team-wide communication, and private staff tools.
Information we collect
TeamDock may collect:
- Names
- Email addresses
- Account login information
- Team names
- Player names
- Parent or guardian contact information
- Coach and staff information
- Calendar events
- Team announcements
- Player goals
- Feedback notes
- Tags or labels assigned to players or events
- Uploaded photos or media
- Video links or imported video information
- Billing and subscription information
- Support requests and messages
The exact information collected depends on how each team chooses to use the platform.
Youth player information
TeamDock may be used by teams that include youth athletes.
Team administrators, coaches, or authorized team staff are responsible for ensuring they have appropriate permission to add player, parent, guardian, and team information into TeamDock.
TeamDock is intended to support team organization and communication. It should not be used to store highly sensitive information unless necessary and appropriate.
How we use information
We use information to:
- Create and manage TeamDock accounts
- Provide team dashboard and communication features
- Display events, calendars, notes, goals, photos, and team content
- Allow coaches and staff to manage team information
- Send service-related notifications
- Provide support
- Process billing and subscriptions
- Improve the service
- Maintain security and prevent misuse
Cookies and analytics
TeamDock uses cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and understand how the site is used so we can improve it.
On TeamDock.ca we use the following analytics and measurement tools:
- Google Analytics 4 — aggregate usage and traffic analytics.
- Meta (Facebook) Pixel — measures the effectiveness of our advertising by understanding actions people take after arriving from an ad. It runs on our public marketing pages.
- Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights — privacy-friendly, aggregate traffic and performance measurement.
These tools may set cookies and collect information such as pages visited, device and browser type, and general location. We do not use them to identify individual children, and we do not sell this information.
You can opt out at any time through your browser’s cookie settings, your device’s ad-tracking controls, or the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
Private team content
Team content belongs to the team or organization that entered it.
TeamDock does not sell team data or player information.
Private feedback, goal planning, notes, and team content are only made available according to the access permissions within the platform.
Payments
TeamDock subscriptions may be processed through Stripe or another payment provider. Payment processors may collect and process payment details directly.
Payment data may be processed outside Canada. Stripe’s Canadian services terms require disclosure that personal data may be transferred, processed, and stored outside Canada, where it may be subject to disclosure under applicable law.
Email and notifications
TeamDock may send service-related emails and notifications, including account invitations, login messages, team updates, billing notices, and support messages.
Marketing emails, where used, will follow CASL requirements for consent, identification, and unsubscribe options.
Data sharing
We may share limited information with service providers who help operate TeamDock, such as hosting providers, email systems, payment processors, analytics tools, and technical support systems.
We may also disclose information where required by law or necessary to protect the security and integrity of the service.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect TeamDock information. However, no online platform can guarantee complete security.
Team administrators are responsible for managing who has access to their team workspace.
Data retention
TeamDock retains account and team information as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, or maintain business records.
You can request account closure or deletion of your data at any time. See our Data Deletion page for how to do this, including for accounts created with Google or Facebook sign-in.
Access and correction
Users may request access to or correction of their personal information by contacting their team administrator or Muldoon Web Solutions Inc.
Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted with a revised effective date.
