Some people want every update the moment it happens. Others want one email a day. TeamDock lets each member choose, and the choice follows you across every team you're on. Open Notifications from the bell or the sidebar.
Start with a preset
- As it happens: an email for everything, the moment it's posted.
- Daily roundup (the default): schedule changes right away, everything else in one email each morning at 7 am.
- Weekly roundup: the same, but the email comes on Sunday morning.
- Essentials only: schedule changes and cancellations, nothing else by email or push.
Fine-tune it
Under the presets, each kind of update has its own push and email setting: schedule changes, team news, polls and RSVPs, and coach feedback and video. Email can arrive as it happens, wait for your roundup, or stay off. Schedule changes are always sent right away by email; only the push is optional. Change any cell and the preset becomes Custom; pick a preset again to reset.
- Chats you haven't read: a line per chat with new unread messages, in your roundup. Muted chats stay out. Chat pushes are set per chat, from the chat's menu.
- Team newsletter: your coach's recap, on the cadence your team chose. Turn it off here if you'd rather not receive it.
- TeamDock product updates: occasional news about new features, never more than a few a season.
The roundup
One email, only when there is something in it, holding everything you chose to catch up on across all your teams. It goes out at 7 am in your team's timezone, every morning or on Sundays.
Good to know
- Every team email ends with a Manage email preferences link, so you can change your mind from your inbox without signing in.
- Some messages are always sent so you can trust the page: invitations, sign-in links, billing, and join approvals.
- Push notifications need the TeamDock app with notifications allowed. The toggle on the Notifications page shows whether this device is set up.
- For team news and polls, As it happens means the posts your coach chooses to email; the roundup carries every post.
