Set up your schedule

TeamDock keeps one schedule for the whole team: your league games imported automatically, plus any practices or team events you add. Everyone can see it, and everyone can subscribe it to their own phone calendar.

Import your league calendar

1. 1Find your association's calendar feed. In most league portals it's a 'Subscribe', 'webcal' or 'iCal / ICS' link. Copy that link.
2. 2In TeamDock, go to Settings and paste it into the calendar feed field.
3. 3Games and practices import automatically and refresh on their own when the league changes something. Your own notes (arrival time, jersey, location tweaks) are kept even when the feed updates.

Add or annotate events

1. 1On the Schedule page, choose Add event for anything not in the feed: a practice, a team dinner, a tournament game.
2. 2Set the type (Game, Practice, Skill Development, Tournament, Off-ice, Team event and more), plus opponent, location, arrival time and jersey. Types are colour-coded across the calendar, and association feeds that label sessions skill development are tagged automatically.
3. 3The end time fills in automatically an hour after the start; adjust it if you need to.

Views and subscribing

Switch between the colour-coded month Calendar (the default view) and a List agenda at the top of the page. Filter by event type, and tap any day to see its details.

• Tap Sync at the top of the Schedule page to add the whole schedule to Apple, Google or Outlook calendars. Apple takes the one-tap Subscribe; Google and Outlook want Copy link (Google Calendar: Other calendars, From URL. Outlook on the web or the new Outlook: Add calendar, Subscribe from web).
• New and changed events update on everyone's phone automatically, with no re-adding.
• When the league moves something, the alert names it: which game, the new time with the old one in brackets, a rink change with both rinks, and cancellations by name. Coaches see the same list after pressing Sync now.
• What changed, at the top of the Schedule page, keeps every one of those changes for 30 days along with what it used to be. Use it to check back after the notification is gone, or to catch up on a week you missed.
• A game the league moved in the last week is marked on the schedule itself: the list shows the old time struck through beside the new one, and the calendar puts a small marker on the day. Only games in the next month are marked, so the usual September tidying of a whole season does not light up every row, and the mark clears itself after seven days. What changed still lists every one of them.
• Set your team's timezone in Settings so event times are always right.
• On more than one team? The All teams toggle at the top shows every team's events in one calendar, each with its team badge.
• Every game, practice and tournament has its own chat. Open it from the event, and the thread carries the date, time, rink and attendance with it.
